My Erasmus Angers 2024

School and classes  The school I was in was a really big school, much bigger than the one I attend in Spain. It had 3 whole buildings, a canteen,  a residence, a study area and also a big container with 3 classes. Out of the school's enclosure they had a rugby pitch and two big sports halls. The most surprising fact was that there were only people between 15 and 18 years old. I had subjects that I had never heard of, like ST2S(Science et Tecnology Sanitaire et Social) where we studied the health of the population in France, EURO it was English and a bit of Biology, ETLV it was healthy habits and health in english and EMC(Ensegnement Moral et Civique) where we talked about ethics, rights and rules. They had something realy curious, they had week A and week B, in my case week A I had EMC and Spanish and on week B I had History and English.

  A day in my life  Every day I woke up at 6:15 a.m. to get ready for school. I took a bus at 7 for half an hour and after it I took a tram to finally get to the school. Classes started at 8 for me, but the schedule of the students can change, for example one day you can start classes at 8 and other day at 10. Also the finishing hour depends on the day, some days I finished at 4 p.m. but other days I had class until 6 p.m. The only thing that never changes was lunch, they had a canteen in school and it was open from 11:30 to 13:30. After classes I went back to home by tram and car or by tram and bus, it depended on the day. When I arrived home I did the homework and projects from my school, I had a shower or I watched a show and after we had dinner all together. After dinner  I got ready to go to bed and I read until 10 p.m.

  Food I have tried During my stay in France i have tried many different dishes that I have never seen before. Dishes that are typical in France, some I have tried, but others I have only saw them in different markets or stores. Tartifflet: the real one is make with laminated potatoes, bacon, onion and cheese all grilled on the oven. I have tried made by pasta, no potatoes and I can say that it was delicious. French tacos: they are not like mexican tacos. They are made with a   flour tortilla grilled and folded around a filling of French fries, cheese, and meat, also you can add other ingredients. It is a fast food dish. Black pudding with boiled apples: it sounds a bit strange and the mix of salty and sweet is apparently a bit disgusting, but if you try it it's realy good. Fromage pané: it's battered cheese and its realy tasty and perfectly melted, personally this and the tartiflet were my favourites.
