My Trip To Paris


My trip to Paris 

I went to Paris with the family of my corespondent, it was a trip of one day,but we watched lots of things. Starting the day we catch a train to go to Paris, when we arrived the first thing that we visited was the Montmartre and we got into Basilique du Sacre Coeur, it was beautiful. Later than we had a walk and we watch the famous cabaret Moulin Rouge and the beautiful opera Palais Garnier. We had lunch, and following we went to a shop centre to see a light show. After that we went to the Eiffel tower, we watched a chinese Christmas market and we get on a boat to do a tour on the Sena river, it was amazing, we watched Notre Dame. Finally we watched the Arc de Trionphe and the lights show of the Eiffel tower and return by train. Also the weekend we went to Paris it was the Téléthon, so there were people all around playing music to recolect money and it was amazing.

Trip back to Logroño

The day of the return On 11th December it was time to return to Logroño. The day before I had to go alone to class because Juliette was ill and that day she couldn't come with me to de airport because she had an exam. Anyways, I had to woke up earlier than I expected and I had to meet another Spanish student so his family could bring me to the airport. When we were there we met with the other two students, and after the farewell it was time to board the plane. When we arrived to Madrid we had to wait a lot and we had to eat. After, it was time to get on the bus and we get worried because the bus wasn't on the screen, but finally it was late and we return to Logroño.

Decorating the house for Christmas

Decorating the house  When December started all the city and the villages started to decorate for Christmas with lights, Christmas markets and funfairs. When it was time to decorate the house my host father brought a giant tree, it was real, not fake like I am use to decorate my house with. It was so high that almost couldn't fit on the living room. We decorate it during the afternoon, also the windows and stairs of the house with stickers, lights and tinsels, there was also a garland on the front door of the house. We had a great time that day, the most complicated part was reach to the top of the tree to put the star, my host father almost felt down.

Christmas on France

  Christmas on France When I was in France the Christmas season started, and I did and saw lots of different traditions that they have. For example I visited three different Christmas markets. One was a Chinese market in Paris that had Christmas decorations and typical Chinese food. Another one was in Angers in the square of the theater that had lots of stands with food and decorations, there was also a carousel, all the city was decorated for Christmas with Christmas lights. And the last one that I visited was in Craon, a small village with a big and typical market with traditional and home made products, it was beautiful and very full. One curiosity is that on Christmas time French people drink hot wine for getting warm.
